Our mission is to shine our light by: welcoming all people building community serving God and neighbor

Mission Families

There are six "Spiritual Families" which comprise the membership of Eastwood Christian Church. Everyone, upon joining the congregation, becomes a part of one of the Spiritual families.

Each Family member will receive:

Prayer and care from elders, deacons, and the entire family

Phone calls with major news of births, deaths, etc.

Opportunities to meet and get better aquainted with fellow church members through three (3) gatherings per year (Fall, Winter, Spring).

Guilt-free life for 10 months of the year knowing other Spiritual Families are responsible for the worship assignments, clean up after fellowship events, etc.

Each Family member will:

Care for each other: post the list of their family and hold each family member in consciousness (through prayer), send cards, provide meals during life crises, etc.

Serve the church (family chores) : Help with various church activities two months during the year, worship servers, Communion preperation/clean-up, fellowship event set-up and clean-up.

Attend Spritual Family Gatherings: make best attempt to attend the gatherings of your spiritual family to build lasting relationships.

The Spiritual Family Leadership (deacons & elders) will appoint the following:

Event Planner

Service to the Church coordinator
